Camp Hilbert Race Series

About the Trails

These races are held at Camp Hilbert which offers a 6-mile single track loop full of twisty turns, short steep hill climbs and some of the best whoop-de-doos in the Richmond area. This is the 3rd annual CHRS! Our second race will be run clockwise. We welcome beginners to expert riders.

Rain

We will have a July rain date and will postpone the race if needed.  If you're not able to make the rain date we are happy to issue credits or refunds.  Just contact us to make the request.

These trails are closed to the public so please don't ride the trail without obtaining permission. Contact us if you're looking to organize a ride.

Race Fees 

Pre-registration $30 (closes 4pm 7/4)

Race day registration opens at 8am $35 and $40 for enduro

Free kids race (10  and less 11:30) Let us know who is "racing"

Series Champions

To qualify for series champ you must race two of three Camp Hilbert Race Series events. You must race in the same class throughout the series. Points will be awarded to the top 5 finishers in each class for the first two races of the series (5, 4, 3, 2, 1). Race #3 will be worth double points (10, 8, 6, 4, 2).

We will produce a series championship jersey to be awarded to the winners of each division.

Sister Series

Come out early and do the double! The Six in the Sticks 6-mile trail run will begin at 8 am race morning. If you don't run bring your running friend out and keep them around to be your support for the bike race. For more information check out the running events page.

This is private property so let's enjoy this opportunity to race at the camp again!

Other info

Please pick up your trash and "leave no trace". There is a dumpster in the parking lot for our use. No dogs allowed. The bathrooms and showers will be open for this event.

Pre-Ride

There will be a pre-ride for this event.  The pre-ride will be Saturday 6-28 from 10am-1pm.  If you have any questions please contact us.  You will be able to pick up your number if your registered.... you'll also be able to register if you still need to!

Team Series Award Rules

The team captain must contact us with the following information no later than the Friday prior to the race to qualify for the team series award.  It will be awarded after the July race.

1. Team name
2. Team leader must submit all team members’ names and categories and e-mails.

3. Team members must be pre-registered!

4. A minimum of 4 racers are needed to qualify.
5. The top 3 finishers will be counted per team.

6. How this will be scored... Points will be awarded to the top 5 finishers in each class for the first two races of the series (5, 4, 3, 2, and 1). Race #3 will be worth double points (10, 8, 6, 4, and 2). So, at the first two races, the best a team can do is 15 points (three riders winning their respective classes).

Refund Policy

If the race is rescheduled due to rain, you will automatically be entered for the new date. If you are unable to make the new date you can transfer your credit to a future race. To transfer your registration you must contact us by Friday post race.
